The eThekwini Municipality newspaper, METRO Ezasegagasini published today, Friday, 23 March 2007, carried a four page supplement on the renaming and naming of infrastructure within the jurisdiction of the municipality.
Technical difficulties resulted in the supplement carrying some wrong information about new street names. Following are infrastructure names that were officially changed at a function held today, 23 March 2007 at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre Complex:

The new 2010 Stadium is now called Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Proposals for new names of other infrastructure in and around eThekwini Municipal area are still welcome for submission from members of the community.
